Samplify has produced soundtracks for major events including the Sydney New Years Eve fireworks display for the past three years, recorded and remixed chart topping tracks and produced audio and voice overs for radio, TV, film and video games.

Davide Carbone has been at the forefront of Australia’s electronic music since the late eighties. One of the first DJ’s to introduce house and techno into Australia, Davide went on to form the successful electronic act Future Sound of Melbourne with Samplify co-founder Josh Abrahams.
After winning an ARIA for best Australian Dance Release as part of Future Sound of Melbourne and playing at the iconic Roskilde Festival in Denmark, Davide relocated to England where he settled down and launched his own imprint BS1 Records.
Continuing on with successful releases reaching the top 5 placing in the UK’s Dance Singles Chart, Davide began work with UK music production house Delicious Digital as an in-house composer. During this time Davide wrote music for the BBC, Virgin, Discovery Channel, Samsung and more.
Davide now resides in Australia and runsSamplify alongside Josh Abrahams as well as the music production institute School of Synthesis. Renowned as one of the leading sound designers in the country, Davide has a unique ability to create outer world sound scapes and effects as well as captivating composition for clients in the ilk of Ford and the Royal Australian Navy.
After beginning work on his solo album ‘Sweet Distorted Holiday’ in the early 90′s, director Baz Luhrmann expressed interest in a collaboration which resulted in the production of tracks for Luhrmann’s album ‘Something For Everybody’. One of these songs became a 1998 UK #1 single, ‘Everybody’s Free (to Wear Sunscreen)’.
Josh’s own solo chart success continued with his 1999 platinum selling single, ‘Addicted to Bass’ from the album ‘Sweet Distorted Holiday’, which was nominated for six ARIA awards. It won two, for Best Dance Album and Best Independent Release. In 2001, Josh added to his producer credits with the platinum selling single ‘Lovesong’, and gold selling album ‘Audio Out’, for the Addicted singer, Amiel.
Josh’s career expanded into the film industry as he went on to work with directors such as Luhrmann’s (‘Moulin Rouge’) and Ang Lee (‘One Last Ride’) as well stints in the realm of theatre with the Edinborough Fringe Festival and the world famous Spiegeltent in the US.
More recently Josh has worked on the multi award nominated short film ‘Woody’ as well has having completed original scores for Dove, Tourism Australia, LG, Bailey’s and a host more.

Carl Cox spends most of each year touring the globe, performing as one of the world’s top DJ’s. He spends a few months of each year in Melbourne, and during that time he is often in working with us at Samplify, writing his own music, creating top shelf remixes for world class artists, and writing the occasional screen soundtrack.
Arranger, composer, keyboardist, producer, Minties addict. Brett is a multi-award winning film composer and has been involved in music professionally since the early 80’s.
His most celebrated score is for the feature film Half Light, starring Demi Moore and Hans Mathieson, recorded at London’s Air Studios with the London Symphony Orchestra, which was highly acclaimed by many filmgoers and score aficionados, eventually earning Brett the Best New Composer award from the International Film Music Critics Association.
Paul has recently moved back to Australia from LA. His breadth of work speaks for itself as one of Australia’s premier sound designers and mixers.
His projects have included the feature films Knight & Day, Sanctum, Sucker Punch and Kung Fu Panda. His roles have included 5.1 surround mixing, sound designer, sound effects editor, sound supervisor and re recording mixer.
Completing A.Mus.A on Saxophone in 1979, Lachlan graduated with distinction from The Victorian College of the Arts in 1983.
Performing solos with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, lead Alto sax with The Australian art Orchestra and the Daryl Mckenzie Big-band and many T.V. (Dancing with the stars-all seasons) and concert performances (Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder, John Farnham) also on many C.D’s and films.
